BardMire is an epic symphonic metal project born in the foggy lowlands of Northern Italy, between Lodi, Cremona and Codogno, where the vanished Lake Gerundo once poisoned the earth.
The debut album, “Gerundo Chronicles: Tales of Dragons, Saints and Shadows”, turns local legends of the dragon Tarantasio, miracle‑working saints and restless ghosts into orchestrated metal tales, blending choirs, cinematic arrangements and storytelling lyrics.
All lyrics and concepts are written by the author, while only the instrumental music and vocal performances are generated with the support of AI tools, carefully directed and curated to serve the stories.
BardMire stands at the crossroads of classic epic metal and modern sound design, using new technology to resurrect very old stories without copying any existing band.
Each song is a chapter: from the cursed waters of Gerundo and the Visconti dragon‑slayer, to the sealed brothel of Lodi, the Devil’s works in Soncino, the underground tunnel of Codogno and the spectral bell of Casteldidone’s castle.
